Research internship – climate / slavery

Climate disruption

Preventable Surprises is starting a new programme to focus on the analogy between slavery and the climate crisis: https://www.ipe.com/analysis/long-term-matters/long-term-matters-exxons-agm-can-investors-learn-from-the-slave-trade/10031403.article

This work is being led by Richard Barker and here is a TEDx which explains the analogy further and in particular, the difference between the UK and US approach to ending the slave trade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NI-j8sDKno

We are looking for a research intern to help us develop this idea – see the attached job description/person specification. We would welcome letters highlighting why candidates are interested in this position and when they would be available to start.
